GRAMPIANS WILDERNESS WALK ITINERARY 7
Wonderland Range and the Bundaleer.
A fully serviced, 3-day base-camp trek which includes some of the best views available of the Grampians National Park. The walk is courtesy vehicle based, so after a day's walking we will rendezvous at a base camp, where bush cuisine and refreshments are standard fare.

DAY 1
From our secluded camp site at base of Mt Rosea we explore an enchanting Tree Fern cluttered creek climbing through Tall Stringybark Forests to Sundial Peak. Spectacular views are had over the Grampians before returning to the Rosea campground via hill 767.

DAY 2
We explore the fascinating Wonderland Range. The Wonderland Range is amazing, with the Grand Canyon, Silent Street and the famous Pinnacle Lookout and rock formations sculptured in the most unbelievable shapes.

DAY 3
We follow Stony Creek Track to the Bundaleer passing Stony Peak. We discover a fascinating series of wind-etched caves as we ascend the Wall of China to obtain the vast views to Tower Hill and the picturesque Victoria Valley. We then return to the Rosea Camp site .

WHAT TO BRING
On day one we will meet at our Halls Gap office around 9am. We then drive your cars to the Rosea Camp site. So bring your airbeds, folding chairs and any other equipment/goodies you consider necessary to make your stay at the camp as comfortable as possible.
Conditions can deteriorate at any time so be prepared!
Your personal bush walking needs are:

- Walking boots - strong with good ankle support
- Suitable long walking pants and or shorts
- 2 Long sleeved collared shirts
- Woollen mix socks - several pairs
- 1 all conditions jacket (Gortex/Japara)

A fully serviced, 4-day wilderness walk exploring the Victoria Range.

The Victoria Range commands the western section of the Grampians National Park.

NB. Some areas on this trek are considered as a sub - alpine environment, therefore the weather can be unpredictable. So please be prepared!
DAY 1
The Grampians Bushwalking Company connects with clients at Halls Gap for transferal to our first campsite situated at Buandik. Day one commences with a visit to a charming waterfall then on to the Billimina Aboriginal Shelter for a glimpse of traditional Aboriginal culture and art work. After dark we experience the Grampians at night, to see at first hand some Grampians nocturnal inhabitants.

DAY 2
Our day 2 adventure begins on the western side of the Victoria Range where we set forth into the secluded wilderness to explore remote sandstone abutments and the time eroded Hollow Mountain and Red Cave. Our adventure then takes us further into the range and up to our isolated bush camp, which is struck high in the Victoria Ranges undisturbed rocky woodlands.

DAY 3:
Day 3 of this adventure sees us meandering between the Victoria Ranges loftiest peaks. We explore its unique habitats and discover some of the intimate relationships that have evolved between the soils and plants of this fascinating area. We will attain the summit of Mt Thackeray (978 mt), the highest pinnacle in the Victoria Range. On this leg we will also delight in the extensive views encompassing Victoria Valley and the Grampians National Park. We again bush camp high in the Victoria Range.

DAY 4
We explore the Western scarp of the Victoria Range through tranquil and sheltered Stringybark ridges and gullies. We pass a lofty rocky wall?s and ascend the Fortress. We then descend through undisturbed valleys to connect with our courtesy vehicle for the return trip to Halls Gap.
